I truly think the good outweighs the bad, but it is hard when the kids start picking up on the things that are happening. My oldest still at home (12) was flipping channels and paused on a news feed showing fires burning during the pretests in Egypt. His question, was is that an unaccompanied post or are there families there? He was very quiet for a while when I told him there were families there.
